The conference kicks off this Friday 6th December 2024 in the cosmopolitan city of Dublin, Ireland. Participants will gather for three days at the 39th European Green Party Congress.
This Congress is therefore a key event for the European Green family, bringing together 400 Green Party delegates, leaders, activists and supporters from across Europe.
This will be the first Congress after the 2024 European Parliament elections, making it an excellent opportunity for Greens to reflect on their collective achievements, discuss key policy issues and make strategic decisions for the future.
Co-hosted by the Irish Greens, who have played a significant role in their national government since 2020, this Congress will also elect the new European Green Party Committee to guide the work of the Green Party for the next 3-year term. It is time for the European Green Party to reconnect with each other and reaffirm its commitment to a sustainable, fair, equitable and democratic Europe.
“Join us in Dublin from 6-8 December 2024, where we will shape the future of our movement, elect new leaders and strengthen the bonds within our European Green family. This is your chance to contribute to our shared vision and be part of the next chapter of our journey towards a greener Europe,” the European Green Party’s website reads.
