According to the latest public opinion poll, the Green Party enjoys significantly increased electoral support. With current support of 3%, the Greens manage to stabilize the political scene in the Czech Republic before the European elections. The party considers this result a significant success, which increasingly motivates its members to continue their work. But the Greens say they are celebrating this success with moderation, because their goals are still much higher.
“In February, the Media agency measured us at 1.5%, in March it was already 2%, and now we are at 3%. We have three elections this year, so it is extremely important to increase support We want to break the 5% mark already after the June elections to the European Parliament, where we present ourselves with an incredible list of candidates full of representatives of the new generation. And we also count on a professional team that we did not have on the campaign trail for a long time,” Green Party co-chair Michal Berg confidently said of the result.
“I say it all the time. This year, we are running for a mandate. Voters are disappointed with the actions of the parties in power. And we are ready to give them hope that things can move forward,” added the party leader, Johanna Nejedlová.
As part of their contact campaign, Green Party candidates travel extensively throughout the Czech Republic. They meet voters, participate in debates and discussions so that as many people as possible can know their values and their future plans.
Johanna Nejedlová, has conducted several interviews in recent weeks, in which she highlighted the importance of green policy for the modernization of her country and Europe. Through these activities, the Greens not only increase their visibility, but also build public confidence in their solutions.
