Warta Poznań is working intensively to build its squad for the 2025/26 season, focusing on young, talented players. Further signings announced by the club clearly demonstrate that the Greens are investing in players with development potential who have the chance to shape the team’s identity in the coming seasons.

Two 20-year-old players have just joined Warta: Kacper Rychert and Mateusz Stanek. Rychert, a product of Chrobry Charbowo, spent recent years at Olimpia Grudziądz, where he scored five goals as a midfielder in 32 second-division matches. He has now signed a one-year contract with Warta, with the option to extend his contract.

A center-forward with impressive physical stature (190 cm tall), Stanek most recently played for Wisła Kraków’s reserves. In the 2023/24 season, he recorded five goals and an assist in 20 appearances in the third division. He has also signed a one-year contract with the club, with the option to extend.

The next signing for the Greens is Kamil Kumoch, a 24-year-old midfielder who spent last season at Wisła Puławy. The player also played for Motor Lublin, Legionovia, and the youth teams of Legia Warsaw. He made 61 appearances for Puławy, scoring 8 goals and providing 6 assists. His experience at center-back and flexibility in midfield could prove crucial for the team.

Marcel Stefaniak will also be in defense for Warta. The 25-year-old left-footed defender has nearly 80 appearances in the second division and last season played for Chojniczanka Chojnice. He has also represented GKS Tychy, Widzew Łódź, and Pogoń Szczecin, among others. His presence is expected to add stability and experience to the team’s defense.
