Biography

Didace is a Systems Engineer trained at the University of Paris, 6th arrondissement in France. Married and father of 7 daughters, he is a businessman and was an Advisor and Cabinet director in several ministerial cabinets.

In 2006, he was elected a national member of parliament. From 2007-2008, he was Environment Minister in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He is the founding president of the Congo Greens Party, “Parti Ecologiste Congolais” (PECO). It’s the most important Greens party in Kinshasa, in the DRC. The party is well positioned and intends to present candidates at various elections from October to November in 2011. Didace Pembe was elected to the Global Greens Coordination (GGC) during the African Greens Federation (AGF) founding in Kampala in 2010. He is also the president of the Greens parties of Central Africa.

From 2009 – 2011, I held the office of “President of the executive committee” of MIDEMA (a multinational American company), established in Kinshasa.

Didace Pembe was elected to office with 78% of the vote, in the national legislative elections in the Democratic Republic of Congo on 28th November 2011, results published in January 2012 for a five-year term. He was elected in the electorate of “Mushie” in the District of “Plateau” in the province of “Bandundu”

Didace Pembe Bokiaga est Ingénieur Système diplômé à l’Université Paris VI en France. Marié, père de 7 filles, il est homme d’affaires et il a été Conseiller et Directeur de Cabinet dans plusieurs cabinets Ministériels. En 2006, il a été élu Député (Parlementaire) National. De 2007 à 2008, il a été Ministre de l’Environnement en République Démocratique du Congo. Il est le Président Fondateur du Parti Ecologiste Congolais (PECO en sigle). C’est le parti vert le plus important au Congo Kinshasa. Le parti est bien implanté et compte se présenter aux différentes élections qui auront lieu en octobre et novembre 2011. Didace Pembe a été élu à la GGC à la AGF Congrès de Kampala de 2010. Il est aussi le Président des Partis verts de l’Afrique Centrale.
