(LEIGH-ON-SEA, ENGLAND)- On October 15th, Conservative MP Sir David Amess, 69, died after a terrorist stabbing in Essex, England.

Amess, a long-time serving member of Parliament for Southend West and formerly Basildon had been stabbed numerous times during a constituent meeting at Belfairs Methodist Church.
The South East Green Party took to their Facebook on the date of Amess’ death to express their condolences.
“Our thoughts are with the family and friends of David Amess MP, who was stabbed and killed this afternoon.”
A 25-year-old man, Ali Harbi Ali, has been charged with Amess’ murder and preparing acts of terrorism.
