The National Secretary of the Greens was in Angers on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. The highlight of her visit was a discussion with employees of the Envie 49 integration network at the Trélazé site near Angers (Maine-et-Loire), whose jobs are under threat.

She absolutely needed the invoice. THE document that would illustrate her argument. Marine Tondelier is a master of communication tools, and she demonstrated this on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the Envie 2E 49 integration network site in Trélazé, near Angers (Maine-et-Loire).

“Lifting their voice at the national level”

The National Secretary of the Green Party was in Angers to support Romain Laveau, a left-wing primary candidate for the 2026 municipal elections in Angers, but not only that. In the afternoon, she met with employees of Envie 49, whose jobs are threatened after the loss of a contract with the eco-organization Ecosystem.
“It’s symbolic support,” she explained, “but it’s also an opportunity to make their voice heard at the national level.” Hence the bill…

“Scandal”

Marine Tondelier didn’t hesitate to call the awarding of the contract for the collection and consolidation of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) to Brangeon, a Cholet-based company, a “scandal.” “When they buy household appliances, people pay an eco-contribution.” The eco-organization responsible for managing this money has just very abruptly terminated contracts with Envie in favor of another company that doesn’t offer integration, let alone reuse. Buyers are being duped by this tax. As for Envie employees, the door is being slammed in their faces.”
They are still waiting. The legal appeal filed by the group has been reclassified, and the date of a new hearing at the Nanterre Commercial Court (Hauts-de-Seine) will be set for May 28.
